Position Title:  Product Manager - FTTx (Ref#001)

 

Job Description:

Strategically formulating plans and initiatives on each opportunity to make a winning proposition for optical connectivity, ODF systems, underground closures, boxes and optical other components. Negotiating and finalizing the commercial/technical terms with the customer and principals. Accountable for project management involving planning & execution, cost analysis, setting sales funnel, sales pipeline and targets based on the opportunities & leads and achieving sales objectives. Performing end-to-end project management and entire project life cycle including study of business goals, project scoping, effort & time estimation, project costing, execution scheduling, milestone definition, control planning & execution planning. Conducting vendor management through evaluation & selection, bid appraisal, contract negotiation, MOU with partners/vendors and monitoring of performance. Negotiating and closing contracts with key customers. Supporting the company in tech/sales presentations, creating value propositions, adopts a solutions-based approach. Providing input to management/engineering/sales team/customers/application requirements. Researching competitive information and data. Analyzing and Solving problems for sales individuals. Managing key accounts, develop new accounts for company and maintain sales base. Assisting sales personnel with proposals, contracts, job planning and perform research and presentation projects. Identifying and creating opportunities for additional revenue and profit within established accounts and new accounts. Interfacing with customers and be a partner in their journey in building next generation networks Telecommuting permitted. 70% travel international and domestic required.

 

Job Requirements:

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience establishing marketing and sales for the optical connectivity industry.

 

Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Experience strategically formulating plans and initiatives on each opportunity to make a winning proposition for optical connectivity, ODF systems, underground closures, boxes and optical other components.
  • Experience being accountable for project management involving planning & execution, cost analysis, setting sales funnel, sales pipeline and targets based on the opportunities & leads and achieving sales objectives.
  • Experience performing end-to-end project management and entire project life cycle including study of business goals, project scoping, effort & time estimation, project costing, execution scheduling, milestone definition, control planning & execution planning
  • Experience conducting vendor management through evaluation & selection, bid appraisal, contract negotiation, MOU with partners/vendors and monitoring of performance.

 

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $136,573.00/year.
